As co-founder of online arts publisher Signal House Edition I commissioned writer and artist interviews, articles, art works, photo-essays and podcasts; including Marenne Welten, Dr. Joy Porter, Viktor Hübner, Simon Brann Thorpe, Mary Herbert, Alexa Alice Joubin, Iro Tsavala, and Natsumi Chikayasu.
As founder of 100Days100Women I interviewed visual artists including Adrian Piper, Alys Tomlinson, Wangechi Mutu, Donna Denis, Joana Vasconcelos, Hayv Kahraman, and Polly Morgan.

I'm a writer and lecturer; my research areas include Twentieth-Century American women art dealers (see my Impresario website), biography studies, and the history of exhibitions, art collections, and museums.
Author of Agnes Martin: Pioneer, Painter, Icon (Benjamin Franklin Award); Yappo (Tipperary Artist Award); and a contributor to Phaidon's Great Women Painters (2022) and Great Women Artists (2019), I've taught at Camberwell College of Arts, University for the Creative Arts, CityLit, University College Cork, and the National College of Art and Design, Ireland.
Publications and broadcast include Hyperallergic, Irish Times, Journal of Illustration, Home Cultures Journal, Burlington Magazine, and Irish Journal of American Studies, and RTE Arena.
My plays have been performed at Theatre 503, Roundhouse, Underbelly, Fishamble, Bunker Theatre and Lime Tree Theatre and installations have been included at Douglas Hyde Gallery, Dublin and The Rag Factory, London.
