I am an Irish writer, academic and editor who has lived in Ireland, the US and the UK. My creative writing has been widely performed and published, including at the Roundhouse, London and Project Arts Centre, Dublin. My non-fiction works (reviews, interviews, arts commentary, essays etc.) have been featured with the Art Newspaper, Burlington Magazine, Irish Times and RTE Radio 1.

My biography Agnes Martin: Pioneer, Painter, Icon (2018) has been widely praised and my children's picture book on Martin, How to Love the Whole World, will be published by Cameron Kids/ Abrams in 2025. In addition to writing, I work as an editor and lecturer. Learn more about me in "My CV".
